Mosman Art Gallery is hosting the 120th Anniversary celebrations of the Society of Arts and Crafts NSW (Craft NSW). Founded in 1906, the Society was established by six craftspeople who met in Mosman for a discussion on the future of arts and crafts in Australia. This exhibition will include a display of historical craft by early members through to works on display and for sale by contemporary and past members.
There will by an official opening ceremony performed by our patron the Governor of NSW and a talk by Dr Sylvia Martin about her recently published book on early members Eirene Mort and Nora Kate Weston
